BFS Attains Non-Profit Status
August 27th, 2007On July 31, 2007 The Basin Film Society was notified of its new classification under the internal revenue code as a 501(c)(3) non profit organization. Although July 31, was the day BFS was notified, the exeption status is retroactive to the day BFS was incorporated.
"This is a great thing for our society as well as our community", said Barney Welch, "This is one of the things we have been working on for a while now."
